- Modern Pilgrimages -
The term pilgrimage was historically referred to a religious journey; where the path and the journey itself were used for gaining fortune for the soul. Today most of classical pilgrimages have been partially modified and shaped by the changes of society. Because our needs have changed, the term “pilgrimage” may also be referred to other aspects of life; sharing however the same principles. The project is investigating the common aspects of classic and modern pilgrimages; comparing the elements of tradition in the modern Era.
